A Reel is a vertical video of up to 60 seconds. If publishing fails, a few settings help.
- Stay on a good connection until the upload finishes. Video is heavier than a photo.
- Don't leave the screen during the upload: staying in the app avoids interrupting it.
- Check the length: beyond 60 seconds, trim the video.
- Keep some storage free: the video is compressed on your phone before upload.
The app automatically compresses videos to speed up the upload, so a heavy video may need a short moment to prepare. That's normal.
If an upload is interrupted, just start it again: incomplete files are cleaned up automatically, so you won't get a duplicate.
