How is my location used and how do I control it?

Your location serves one purpose only: showing you what is happening near you and indicating a listing's area. We protect your privacy by default:

  • We never display your exact address. On a listing, only an approximate area appears (city and postcode).
  • A listing's map shows a town-level area, not a precise pin at your door.
  • The "near me" features in Explore and the Community use a radius around you.

You stay in control: you can allow or deny location access in your phone settings (iOS or Android) at any time. If you deny it, you can still enter a city manually when publishing a listing.

To learn more about how we protect your location, see the Privacy Policy.
