How listings are ranked

Ranking information — French Consumer Code art. L. 111-7, Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (DSA) art. 27 and Regulation (EU) 2019/1150 (P2B) art. 5. This English text is a translation; the French version is authoritative.

This page explains in plain words the order in which AllEasyWay shows listings, and how the paid and free visibility options change that order. It complements Article 6.11 of the Terms of Use.

1. Which listings are shown

Only listings approved by our moderation are shown. Among them, you see the ones that match:

  • your country or the geographic area you chose;
  • the category (and, where relevant, the sub-category) you are browsing;
  • the keywords of your search, if any;
  • the place and radius you chose, and any other filters you apply.

These criteria matter most, because they decide which listings are relevant to you.

2. The normal order: newest first

Among those listings, the default order is chronological: the most recently published listings come first. Every listing therefore gets the same exposure when it is published, then moves down as new listings arrive.

In a keyword search, results are selected, and where relevant ordered, by how well they match the words searched (including with a typo or in another language).

The Reels (video) feed follows its own parameters, described in Article 9.9 of the Terms of Use (type, language and location of the content, freshness, interactions). The Explore grid shows videos in a shuffled order that changes on each visit.

3. Paid options change a listing's place: the "Sponsored" label

A seller can pay to give their own listing more visibility, with two options: Spotlight, the most visible level, and Premium, placed right after Spotlight.

For the period purchased, and only for people browsing the listing's country (or area):

  • Category pages, with the default "Relevance" sort: there are at most 3 Spotlight places at the top of the page. When there are more than 3 Spotlights, these places are shared by rotation on each visit, or given to the listings nearest to you when your position is known; the other Spotlights stay in their usual chronological place. When a category has fewer than 3 Spotlights, the free places can be taken by Spotlights from other categories or sub-categories (never in the Jobs category). The category's Premium listings come next. The first paid listing may be shown in a large format at the top of the unfiltered page. A page with no listings may show "sponsored suggestions" from other categories (except Jobs).
  • Search results: the Spotlight and Premium listings that match your search are placed in groups of at most 2 Spotlights and 1 Premium, after the first 4 results and then every 15 listings, while any remain.
  • Marketplace feed: groups of at most 2 Spotlights and 1 Premium are placed at the top of the feed and then every 15 listings, while any remain (except in the recent-listings view, which is strictly chronological).
  • Explore (videos): in each batch of videos loaded, Spotlights (at most 3) and then Premium listings come first.
  • Home page: a dedicated "Spotlight & Premium" section.

If you choose a sort by date or by price, no listing is moved up because it paid.

These listings carry the label "Sponsored" ("Sponsorisé" in French) next to the "Spotlight" or "Premium" badge: it means their position was paid for.

The price depends on the option, the duration and the listing's category; it is always shown before payment. The purchase terms are in the Terms of Sale.

Paying:

  • does not hide or penalise the listings of sellers who did not pay: only their position can be shifted by the sponsored slots;
  • does not guarantee any result (views, contacts or a sale).

4. The free Boost: the "Boosted" label

The Boost is free and open to every seller on the same terms (currently one Boost per 24-hour period). For 24 hours, the boosted listing appears in dedicated "Boosted" rows, placed after the Spotlight and Premium slots. Because nobody pays for a Boost, the listing carries the label "Boosted" ("Boosté" in French), not "Sponsored".

5. No other payment

Apart from Spotlight and Premium, AllEasyWay receives no payment to change the order of listings. Any third-party advertising is shown separately and marked as advertising (Article 18 of the Terms of Use).

6. Sorting and filters

Where the interface offers several sort orders or filters (for example place, radius or price), you can choose and change them at any time. A sort by date or by price ignores the paid options (see section 3).
