- Cash at handover: the simplest option for small and mid-range amounts, once the item is checked.
- Standard bank transfer: possible between people who trust each other, but it isn't instantly reversible; wait until it has properly arrived before handing over the item.
- Absolutely avoid with a stranger: gift cards, vouchers, cryptocurrencies, money orders, or any "payment link" sent by message.
A universal principle: to receive money, you never need to give your card codes or to pay anything. Any request to the contrary is a scam. Never share your bank details in chat.
