Since the purchase goes through the store, your official receipt is issued by Apple or Google. Here's where to find it:
- iPhone (App Store): Apple emails you a receipt, and you'll find the history in Settings > your name > Media & Purchases > Purchase History, or at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Android (Google Play): open the Google Play app > your profile > Payments & subscriptions > Budget & history, or visit play.google.com/store/account. Google also emails a receipt.
This receipt shows the amount, date and VAT: it's your accounting record.
