The category decides where your ad appears and how buyers find it. Good sorting means more views.
- First pick the main category (Vehicles, Electronics, Fashion, Home, Collectibles…).
- Then choose the sub-category closest to your item.
A few pointers:
- Pick the most specific category possible: a buyer using filters will find your ad more easily.
- Don't post in the wrong category to "get seen more": it hurts visibility and the ad may be refused.
- Some collectibles (cards, TCG…) have their own dedicated section.
If you're a professional seller, your ad can also appear automatically in the matching main category, to reach more buyers.
