Your listings, Reels and community posts are public: a few simple habits protect your privacy.
- Check your photos: avoid showing a licence plate, a house number, documents or your children's faces in the background.
- Choose a public meeting place for a hand-to-hand exchange, rather than your home.
- Do not put sensitive information in the listing text (full address, phone number in place of the dedicated field, etc.).
- Use a username instead of your full name if you prefer to stay discreet.
Remember that the location shown stays an approximate area, never your exact address. You can also hide your number (see the dedicated article) and favour chat.
